Hi!!
I'm curious to find out how many women's partners have experienced pregnancy and or labour pains.
My partner has suffered almost identical symptoms to me throughout this whole pregnancy and i find it amusing but now we're quering whether he will get labour pains (I hope he does) lol
My midwife confirmed that, yes, men can and do suffer similar symptoms to that of their pregnant partner, its mediacally known as 'couvade" pregnancy i was informed.
I'm just wondering how commonplace it really is as we've never experienced anything like it before!!

But I asked my doc about it and she said a couple that is very intune with each other and very close are more likely to have these exp. HOpe that helps!

Well, before we knew we were pregnant my hubby started getting this unusual cravings... after that, well, lets say he had morning sickness for the first trimester... he gets headaches, he gets unusually hungry (and cranky sometimes!!) Oh well, in a few words, I'm carrying our baby.. and he's suffering the symptoms. I don't know anyone who has experienced this, so thank you for enlightning us, my hubby will feel a bit rested!! ;)

my babys daddy did feel some of my symptoms. he's feel sick and his man boobs would itch too. lol he's absent mindedly scrach at them at work and his boss would tell him to stop it. lol She knew the first time he did that that I was pregnate and he didn't even say anything to her about it. As for the labor pains, he didn't feel those the first time. I am hoping he feels them this time. All men are different. Some are more intune to their spouses and others just aren't.

When I first found out I was pregnant, whenever my husband and I would drink coffee we would both get nauseus. I thought it was the funniest thing (he is an infantryman in the Army and we were both in Iraq) big bad man getting sick when his pregnant wife was too!!! It has happened with this pregnancy as well but not as much with the first one! I guess since we had a girl first and a boy this time, Daddy's girl affected him more!!!

My husband did not feel any symptoms last time I was pregnant, or this time. I'm not sure what causes it, but I know my husband was really excited so it's not just the fact that there excited for the baby.
