Do I have a pinched Nerve?

Hello ladies, so I am 7.5 months pregnant with my second child. During my first pregnancy I suffered extreme lower back pain for a good 4 months. During this pregnancy I have been suffering back pain for a good couple months, now massages, hot packs and warm baths all help and I thought that was horrible pain.

But the past 5 days I have a very specific back pain to the left of my spine and a little lower then midback. I am quite accustomed to back pain and I've had chronic back pain and I've also pulled muscles to the point of not being able to move but this is completely different.

Sitting down tends to make it quite unbearable, laying seems to help more then anything. Sometimes I can shift feet while standing and it relieves pressure but generally the pain is fairly constant with little reprieve. All the methods work only until I stop. So the hot pack once removed stops working, the bath and massage are the same.

What is this? It is becoming unbearable. I mean moving is hard enough and I cannot breath half the time lol but throw in this extreme pain and I'm ready to throw the towel in.

Doctors appointment is Friday and I thought I could wait but it's horrible. I am thinking of going in, but if this is normal there is no point.

Another thing that has happened which may be unrelated is that I went to go grab something yesterday and my left arm had a shooting pain and I could feel the straight line of pain from my thumb/wrist down to my elbow and it was tingling and numb, and if I twisted it or anything a sharp pain would shoot through. This subsided then came back after 30 minutes. It has not bothered me this morning, but the numbness stuck around for a while. Feels normal now. Left arm.

Have you tried going to a chiropractor? I went to one when I was pregnant with my daughter and they used the activator method so it's safe for pregnant women. It helped A LOT!
I was having shooting pains in my shoulder down to my elbow and after a few visits to the chiropractor it stopped.
