Due Date Dilemma?

Hello everyone! I am a first time mother and so would like some feedback from veteran moms. When I had my first apt with my midwife I guessed that my last period was around March 25th (thanks to my husband who believes he is always correct with dates). She estimated my due date at December 30th. When I was at 19 weeks, we had our first and last ultrasound and according to its results, my little Maelee was 11 ounces and she is due on Dec. 26th. However, I have been hitting milestones early and have always suspected I'm farther along than that. Yesterday I rediscovered an old calendar I had written in that marked March 20th as the day I knew I was pregnant (due to cramping and other signs starting on that day). I never had a period after that date. I'm not quite sure when my last period was (I do know the last "period" I had was not a period; more like light spotting), but I do know that the cramping typically happens 6-12 days after conception (or when the egg implants) and can also happen up to 4 weeks after conception.... I had light spotting somewhere in the very beginning of March, knew I was pregnant the 20th.... If that is correct the latest my due date could be is around Nov. 30th correct? Am I over thinking this?! I just want to be prepared for when my baby is going to come; and that is almost a month of discrepancy?! Should I go with the ultrasound due date or my own calculations? Help! :)

I agree with Brittany- baby will get here when it gets here, just be prepared early (which is a good thing anyway, right?!)

We are going through the same thing- our estimated due date is Feb 19, but I did not have a cycle for 2 months when we noticed- it was a VERY stressful time for us, but the docs assumed I became prego the second month- DD is measuring big (not enough to change her date, but by about 5 days) and I am HUGE to just be 6 months! Dad has also been able to feel her by what was 17-18 weeks, which I think is really early! We are planning on being prepared by the first of the year, just in case, because even our second child was 2 weeks early with no warning!

Best of luck to you!

If you have had an ultrasound, then go by that date. Baby will come when baby comes, you cant really predict it.
