I'm 26 weeks and have felt so crazy emotionally lately I feel like going and staying at a hotel just to be by myself so my bf doesn't have to deal with the craziness. He works so hard and is so worn out when he comes home and all I can do is fall apart thinking he's not interested in me anymore. Ugh....not to mention that when I'm not preggers I hardly ever cry so it makes it even harder on me because I know its the extra hormone overload. *sigh*

Oh yes! How lucky you are if you are only now feeling very emotional. I was so emotional during my entire pregnancies. The worst was when I was about 2 days passed my due date and I started bawling while watching a potty training video with my 2 year old.

hahaaa i love this topic. my first baby i was mildly crazy through out the whole thing, but when i was 6,7, and 8 months i was a straight psycho!! lol at least you know your out of wack. i couldve sworn the whole world was against me. lol only after did i realise it was prob just me being nuts..

now im bout 6 months along and so far so good although last week I was laughing hysterically at my boyfriend (for like 10 min.. to the point it wasnt funny anymore) then within 2 seconds i switched to crying.. like bawling my eyes out. haha! he was a lil freaked out but at least he knows to expect it as were on #2. ...so here we go i guess!!

How do you tell the difference between things you should really be upset about and things that are just hormones?
There is a decent amount of upheaval in our lives right now in addition to the stress of a first child.

very normal! I was very depressed yesterday and now I'm feeling just fine. Some days I'm full of energy and others I just can't understand how I managed the day before! I'm not much one for crying but I sure felt like having a cry yesterday and for no good reason. This is my 5th pregnancy and it's been the same every time- a roller coaster ride for my emotions.

I am 15 weeks I am very emotional. I find that I am on a much shorter fuse than I ever was. Plus a few weeks ago I cried at the end of Cars, which I have seen half a dozen time. I also cried when Arbys gave me the wrong sandwich last week.

Okay I am 17 wks prego and my emotions are like haywire. One moment I am happy and then the next I am shooting off at my husband for something stupid. Is there any way to control my emotions? I hate it when I get so mad at my husband for little dumb things and then I can never seem to get over them. What do I do?

Ahhh I am totally doing that too!! I am almost 34 weeks and I am like crying like a waterfall because my husband is gone for three weeks and it is totally an overreaction because I have known for a long time that he was going to be gone in June, but it is still like I cannot help it I am just crying all the time. Mine I think is partially because I can't do much anymore being so pregnant and trying not to go into labor until he comes home haha I hate all these emotions!

OMG! i've been crying at everything for 4 years now. our oldest will be 3 yrs old this month and i've been crying since i was pregnant w/her. commercials, stories, and when we watch "Enchanted" i bawl like a baby at the end when he puts the slipper on her foot! w/my first pregnancy i would sit on the couch watching "A Baby Story" and just cry for half an hour. but i wasn't sad. i still cry at anything baby and happy. i cried yesterday listening to our 3 yr old "read" her book in the other room.

your body is infested w/hormones. w/our 1st, i had mini-breakdowns after she was born. nursing helps things get back on track quicker, but i still needed to run to bathroom and cry for about five minutes and then i was okay for a while. your body has built up all these hormones so when they baby gets here it takes a while for them to work out of you.
