Feeling bad about gaining too much weight

I am 24 weeks and have already gained 30 pounds! I am having my 2nd baby girl and finding it so hard to fit in exercise. I didn't lose all the weight I gained with my 1st, so I am feeling extra huge. I had a prenatal appointment today, usually I leave feeling so great! But, not today, I feel like crap. I don't have people to help me watch my 18 month old and the free time I do have, I don't want to spend exercising. I am thinking of getting up early, before my daughter wakes up, to workout to a prenatal DVD. I need to get myself motivated!
I feel embarrassed about myself and I think I just look fat and not pregnant. I am feeling really crappy right now, sorry for venting.

I wouldn't worry about the weight, but would try to stay active...a little light exercise will help to reduce the amount of swelling etc you will experience soon...But just regular fun movement is great...an 18 month old will love to go for a walk, play actively,or bop to some music quite well and enjoy it, just dance around your living room or play ball and how adorable your little one looks while trying to do what you are doing will make you laugh and give you some motivation...but again dont worry about the weight until after your pregnancy, just have some fun or keep moving for now

i feel the same way as you i am 26 weeks with my third child and have gained 30lbs already everyone gains weight differently with pregnancy. The only thing that matters is that you are keeping the baby healthy

Don't feel bad about gaining weight. I say don't worry about it now, you can work out after she's born during nap time. The easiest exercise you can do is playing with your toddler, take her for walks or to a park. Don't know how your weather is but STAY HYDRATED! And just eat healthy, choose healthy filling snacks, That's really all we can do! And stay positive your girls are gonna love you no matter how much weight you gain, and that's all the really matters right?
