full term pregnancy after a miscarriage?

What does it mean if a doctor told me after a miscarriage that I might not be able to carry a child to full term?

It may just mean that you may not be able to carry to a full 40 weeks, or that theres a possibility that the baby may come prior to 37 weeks which is considered premature. It depends on your medical issues, but if you are relatively healthy most women can and do have a normal pregnancy after a miscarriage. I believe that the statistics are roughly 80-90% of women that have a miscarriage go on to have a normal pregnancy the next time they get pregnant. I am at 35 weeks now myself after having had a miscarriage this last January...
