Yes, I had mine break open with my first. It was very painful, but I had them in a spot that you couldn't avoid urinating on.
The vulva tissue is very hard to stitch. Once you give birth, and you get the first stitching, they won't "re-stitch". They will just let it heal naturally.
Unless you have extremely weak tissue down there (due to using steroid creams or something to that effect), you will likely heal fine.
It will bleed until it is healed. It will attempt to clot. The first clotting might end up in the toilet or on a pad. Eventually it will hold.
Of course, it is a good idea to check with your OB/GYN if you are soaking completely through a pad in a matter of one hour.

Ohhhh, okay, sorry I was confused....

Then yeah in the meantime just watch the area.... and to heal faster you can always use Epson salt so long as there's no open wounds, this thing is magic! lol

I think the heavier bleeding is just the subsequent natural release since there was no ovulation for the duration of the pregnancy.

I busted them on the 2 day but didn't call the doctor until the 9th because I thought that it was normal at first.

You said you gave birth and had stitches on Dec.2, then on Dec.9, you posted they got busted. Did they get busted Dec. 3 or Dec. 9....? I'm confused now....

But yes, watching it is your best bet since you are not bleeding and/or in pain....

Sooooooo, the question is....? Sowee, I'm lost....

Stitches are supposed to come off on their own after a certain amount of days. Take a warm cloth and apply it to the area to clean it off.
