Hemorrhoids...what works best for you?

I've been having some pain on and off through out my second pregnancy with hemorrhoids...the pain and discomfort doesn't seem to want to let up...regardless of what I use. I have tried P.H. wipes and creams..and a new one that my midwife suggested 100% aloe vera...and sitz baths...they just won't go away...any suggestions or helpful remedies that have helped you along the last few months of pregnancies?

I have a lot of pain with mine too now that I'm in my 2nd pregnancy...my midwife actually suggested this to me :D you crush ice to a "slushie" consistancy and then add Milk Of Magnesia with it to make a sort of paste?? then you put it on a sanitary napkin and apply to the sore area. I was using it atleast 2 or 3 times a day for about half an hour and it worked WONDERS! They have almost completely disappeared :D good luck!

i thought i'd posted on this, but it doesn't show. Witch hazel is what I used. I was told it's the main ingredient in those tucks pads. I agree with natasha on making sure you have softer stools. drink tons of water, juice, and eat lots of fresh foods.

I have used nothing for mine, i just avoid getting constipated as best i can and i don't have any trouble with them. Drink heaps of water and eat loads of fiber!
