I'm 36 + 4 and have just realised I'm not at all prepared for labour!! We have been given lots of clothes from my sister law so havn't had to buy many at all, The first baby grow I'm putting him in is brand new, but as for vests, i have lots so really dnt want to buying more does it matter that he doesnt have a brand new vest to go into? I didnt get prepared with things for my daughter cos my mum did it for me , what do i need to pack ? I'm starting to panic!!!

The only thing I can think of that no one else mentioned is a boppy pillow if you plan on nursing. I started using mine from day one with my son.

daipers, clothes for you and baby, magaizines, cards, hair brush, tooth brush, pads, baby bankets, shampoo, snacks (incase u dont like the hospital food or get hungry between meals), you should pack for a 3 day stay incase you have a csection and have to stay longer

Well make sure you pack, his coming home outfit, a hospital picture outfit, blankets, onesies, diapers, pacifier, booties/socks, cap, snowsuit (b/c it is cold as hell outside), baby brush, baby lotion, wipes, put u a nightgown and slippers in there for your self so you can feel kind of sexy although you were in a hospital (it will definitely make you feel better) I had one. nursing pads in case your breast leak. that is all i can think of at the moment. good luck and the best to you.

Depends how long you plan to stay really. I took way too much baby stuff and didn't take enough things for myself!

just pack the basics, some singelts, onesies, socks/booties, mittens, blankets, nappies, wipes and bottles and formula if your planning to bottle feed... if its not your first child, you generally dont stay too long in the hospital afterwards unless something goes wrong with you or bubs so you wont really need to pack much at all for bub. and its doesnt matter if the stuff is new or not, my first girl i had all hand me downs except for the presents she recieved, its not really an issue. =) hope i helped somewhat!!
