Heres a fun game we can play.. Lets see what some of the interesting, yet required items you think should be put into a hospital bag are. Of course this varies on what your hospital would supply for you.

Personally I like little things like lip balm or my own brand of baby wipes. Also I put in a Blue and Pink bonnet, Booties, Dummy and Blanket for the trip home accompanied by a white growth suit. This way, if the predicted gender isnt correct, then I also have the other colour as a back up.

Diapers, wipes, vaseline, a few of outfits for baby (we ended up staying almost a week with our first, hubby had to make multiple trips for baby things), bra pads, pads, receiving blankets (will be too warm for anything more in our climate once baby is born)..a pair of scratch mitts just in case, some booties, little toque. Toothbrush/paste, hair brush, socks. Some gum, snacks (granola bars, crackers, etc - hospital food/snacks isn't always tasty, sometimes very expensive) for hubby and myself. Camera. A book for myself (can never sleep in a hospital, especially if I am not expecting to be there for too long), some sort of entertainment for hubby (ds for example).
