how do i stop worrying?

is it normal to worry about the health of your baby growing inside of you almost all of the time? i have high blood pressure and i'm only 24 weeks pregnant. but ever since i found out i was pregnant i've just worried non stop about this little boy inside of me. and i know that it's not good for me to worry but how can i stop??

It is very normal to worry, but by 24 weeks you should of had enough ultrasounds for your doctors to know if your baby is ok or not! So STOP worrying! lol I know it's easier said then done. But I actually had twins, it was nerve racking! Because twins are typically "high risk" you constantly worry about the "what ifs" But stressing out about your baby isn't going to help your high bp! Why don't you look into pregnancy yoga? Or some kind of support group? Stress will only hurt the little man :)

Very normal... and it never goes away... your fears just change as your baby ages. You could definatly talk to your doctor if you think you are worring too much.

That's motherhood in a nutshell..we worry about our kids from the minute we found out about being pregnant. I was a wreck during both my pregnancies. I agree with Kim yoga helps or deep breathing excersices. I used to sit in a quiet room, close my eyes and just think about what it would be like to meet and care for the little life growing inside of me. And I would talk to the baby, not necessarily out loud. I always felt that my babies were in tuned with my feelings and knew my inner most thoughts. That is my favorite part of pregnancy.,that feeling of being so totally connected to your baby. It is extremely calming.

thank you. and i know i don't want to hurt the little one. i'm only 21 and i'm really excited and i think i'm just anxious about everything. the doctors say everything is going along just as it should be with my pregnancy so i guess i should just chill out. and i signed up for some support classes today :) thank you!
