I have been reading threads for days. After reading all the advice I called the dr. Here's all the info. I used to have 30 day cycles but since my third child, 4 years ago, they are now 26-28. Husband had a vasectomy right after our last was born with some complications with fibrous tissue but we were told it went well. He never went back in to get checked and because I've always had difficulty ovulation I think we just didn't worry about it. Having said that, I've never been late or missed a period except when pregnant. I'm pretty sure that last month I did ovulate although I was not taking temps all the other signs were there. I didn't worry about it obviously. I'm now 10 days late. And spotted day 21 and 24 lightly. I've never had my period vary more than a day in subsequent months. Drs and I assume early onset perimenopause (35). Ran FSH, tsh, free t3/4 estrogen, CBC etc. I am in perfect health for the first time in my life lol. Not even close to Perimenopause I guess. Unfortunately he didn't run a blood pregnancy test and all the Urine tests I've taken are negative. The last one I took wasnt in the morning with first Urine so I'll do another one tomorrow but I'm having to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get ahold of him and while I'm waiting wanted some advice. I'm not on any other meds other than natural progesterone, I'm in good shape, not over weight, eat well, don't over exercise etc. I take this every month with no interruption on my cycle. Any thoughts? I've heard stories of pregnancy tests showing negative up to 9 weekss but to have that as well as a vasecyomy error is a little weird. Any thoughts?
