I'm 24 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my daughter. However, for the past day and a half or two, she's been kicking in my pubic area. She feels like she is actually trying to kick out! Is this normal?!

My baby boy is down super low too and sometimes I swear he is reaching out of the exit because he is soooo low. I have be reassured that the babies just like to chill wherever they like the best as long as you aren't having contractions and anything like that things should be fine. It gets worse if she is low now I am 27 weeks and my boy kicks my pelvis apart!

I don't think they realize where they're kicking. They're just getting their exercise. I understand your pain. The first sensations I got from my second felt like her clawing at my cervix. She kept it up pretty much non-stop until she was big enough to tuck her head down in my pelvis, tuck a foot under each side of my ribs, and stretch. And she carried much higher than her big sister who almost never hit me there. I kept teasing that she just wanted out and her labor was really fast so maybe she did. :)

I've been feeling my baby move since 18 weeks, though my hubby always jokes that it's just gas! I'm 25 weeks now and the baby is big enough that you can actually SEE my belly pulsate with every kick like the baby's trying to explode through my skin! It freaks me out so much I've had recurring nightmares of that movie Alien!!!

Latoya: it's the worst feeling ever to get a swift kick in the cervix! But it is normal and your baby can't kick out. Your body does a pretty good job of being Fort Knox until the time is right. It is uncomfortable and you can try gently nudging to get the baby to move. It won't last for too much longer. Once the kid flips head down and stops being breech you'll be getting feet in your ribs lol much better than feet in the cervix in my opinion. It's perfectly normal, nothing to be concerned about and it will probably stop in a few weeks. :)

Once you hit the end and the baby drops you will literally feel like she is going to fall out when you stand up! If only it were that easy :) haha dont worry things will be ok that is how they like to treat us haha. If you are really worried about it call your doc but trust me until you have lost your mucus plug and are dilating that baby girl is not going anywhere :)

not supposed to feel movement every day til 28 weeks? what?!?! then i must have odd babies cause 1, 2, 3 and now 4 all moved tons, every day, after week 20 (3 and 4 after week 18 and i started feeling #4 at 13 weeks!). I'm lucky in that my boy isn't low so the pelvis isnt' getting hit, but he kicks hard, and lots. at 22 weeks my older kids can SEE the kicks if they look from my view (head on my shoulder) and he LOVES to kick in the most painful places when i have heartburn.

Don't be jealous of me being kicked all the time, haha. My doctor thought it was unusual as well, since you aren't suppose to feel movement everyday until 28 weeks! She said, however, it could be because I'm small. I'm 4'11 and use to weigh 90 pounds, My skin and tummy are the only things growing. I can feel just about anything! Haha.

All the time? Wow, my girl hasn't either gotten that strong or has more room or something. I feel her fine a few times a day but she just doesn't kick that hard. I feel her kick some days in my back area and others in my stomach area, I think I can tell when she goes from upside down to right side up and she changes so much it is a surprise where she is going to kick today, funny I thought she would kick harder and more... I am 26 weeks. Kind of jealous of you :)

yes, unfortunately she hasn't turned yet. It will get better when she's bigger and has less room to move.
