Yes .. Your body is doing a marathon run 24/7 when you are pregnant..You may be closing your eyes..but your body is always hitting the next cycle to complete during the long 9 months of pregnancy.I had my midwife tell me one time..that if your body slowed down during the 9 month..We would end up being like them elephant that take 2 year to give birth.

Its definitely normal. You're not getting as much of the deep REM sleep that you need at night, so its expected to be more tired during the day. Before I had my baby, I would wake up once an hour for several hours each night. It does get a little better after the baby's born, and much better when they start sleeping 4-5 hours at a time (with mine it was about 4 weeks). Hope this helps!

Yep, that's pretty normal. The only solution will come once you little bundle is born and your hormones go down. That's awesome that you sleep pretty good! But, at the same time, the more you wake during the night, the more tired you'll be during the day. I tend to think of it as nature's way of prepping you for the waking every 2 hours to feed during the night. You'll be pretty much used to the "no sleep" thing by time the baby gets here, and you'll be able to function better.
