I have been lactose intolerant all my life. Will I pass it to my baby? Is it genetic or a genetic "mutation"?

It can be genetic, but just like all other genes not always is it passed down. Talk to your doc. about it. If you are doing formula they may have you use soy or a lactose free formula and then try milk after baby is 1 yrs old. Sometimes babies also have a hard time with milk based formula but are fine with milk once they get older.
