Miscarriage Fears :(

I am 6 weeks along, and I started spotting on Thursday. I went to the hospital on Friday. They told me that my body was threatening miscarriage, and that about half of women with these symptoms recover to have a normal pregnancy, but since then it has only gotten worse. It's now Sunday, and it's continued and gotten heavier. This morning I began passing small clots. I feel like I need to prepare my heart for what might happen, although I really don't want that to be the case. Anyone have any insight on this situation, or been there before? I'm really confused, and I don't want to get my hopes up or plan for something if it's not going to happen. :(

thanks for your encouragement :) yeah i did have an ultrasound done, but i kind of regret it because i saw the baby and it is in the right spot and everything and has a heartbeat so i'm that much more attached to it... i'm trying to relax and de-stress and stay off of my feet, but like you said, they didn't have an explanation for why it was happening so it's difficult and scary. Good luck Rachael and Anna! (And i'm sorry about your loss, i hope your baby girl blesses your life and brings you endless joy :D your encouragement shows that you have a good heart, you deserve it!)

Hi hon i'm 24 weeks preg and did have something like that happen do you have pains to go along with it?? i'm sue the hospital asked you that unfortunatly there is nothing you or anyone can do about it if it's going to happen it's going to happen just means something wasn't right but stressing about weather or not it's going to happen could help make it happen so you need to relax!! when i said it happend to me yes i'm still preg with a little girl but we did also lose one! we had twins, yes i did start to worry that i would lose our girl too but i just had to get that out of my head it was hard but i did it and she's going along great now it was just meant to be! unfortunaltly the first 13 or so weeks are a waiting game! and even thou it's exciting esp if it's your first like me but just try not to plan anything or buy anything till your over that hump i know it's hard but it saves a little bit of heart ache if something was to happen because you don't have al these little outfits ect to have to look at! i hope this helps a little but i know how hard it it's try and relax do nothing for a little while and try your ever hardest not to think bad things ok. Plz let me know how you go xx

Hey sorry to hear about that! I'm 8 weeks and started spotting and having blood clots yesterday went to the er and had an ultrasound done and say the baby and heart beat. They said everything looks good but I still don't know why I'm still bleeding. Hoping to hear more tomorrow from doc. I've just been relaxing and not doing anything. You should just relax and try not to stress. Did you get an ultrasound done!! Good luck I'll let you know how it turns out.
