So when I'm tired at night I tend to feel more nauseas. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and the only thing that calms my stomach and also relaxes me is my boyfriend laying next to me holding me.. anyone else have this happen?

I loved being able to take tums as later on in pregnancy, i got heart burn more frequent than usual. Certain symptoms if not all should subside by the 12 week mark. I also drank gatorade to help with nausea. Have you thought about using Crystal Light in your water so you won't get sick of drinking it? Are those the only symptoms you have right now? BTW congratulations as I realized I didn't even say it. :)

From what I was told, doctors and nurses won't tell you this and supposedly they can't but you can take Rolaids or Tums for heart burn. I did as I had it really bad and couldn't stand it anymore. My baby came out healthy and fine. If you are throwing up, don't worry about it. When I was pregnant with my first, I lost 25 lbs from throwing up and not being able to actually eat, doc said it was normal and i'll gain my weight back in which I did, i gained 27 lbs after that.

I use the crystal light in the small container that you squirt into your water and that doesn't have Aspartame listed in those ingredients. The BRAT diet worked great for me and I was a newly pregnant mom. I'm giving her suggestions and telling her what I had done. If she wants to try it than she can, if it works for her than great, if it doesn't than she will find something else that does.. It was rudeness. You said "Geez ladies do your research and talk to your doctors". like I'm an ignorant person. Like I said up there, I'm giving my suggestions. BTW I did talk to my doctor, both times I was pregnant I asked a bunch of questions.

Your welcome. :) I looked at the ingredients and didn't see aspartme in it, I drank it while I was pregnant along with other brands as well. If you know what is giving you heart burn the doctor will say to stay away from it and that's your best bet. Heart burn and acid reflux are the same thing lol. I used to think they were different things as well so no worries there lol. I would try the BRAT diet if you haven't already.
B- Bananas R-Rice A- Apple sauce T-Toast. See which one of those might help. For me gatorade worked when I was having morning sickness. It help to ease my tummy at times but not all the time. All you can do is figure out what works for you no matter what it might be. I don't understand why the other lady seemed to be so rude when posting but don't listen to her rudeness. If you have any questions feel free to ask. If there is something that I can't answer I will let you know to ask your doctor. Other than that I will let you know what I did and my opinions. :)

Hahaha thank you and thank you for giving me advice it's my first so totally a rookie. I haven't tried crystal light doesn't it have the aspartme in it? Never thought of Gatorade. Bought some limes to go in my water to give it taste and help. Heart burrn and morning sickness is about all I have for symptoms and except for being hunry every 2 hrs. Morning sickness usually is once or twice a day for me except yesterday day when the heart burn causes me to do slot of throwing up. Sometimes my stomach will just be upset for a night and I won't throw up. Get hot flashes alot but i mean usually it isn't downrite like I wanna die lol

I have tried saltines which I've notice give me killer heart burn, tried fruit which seem to help when I had it with breakfast the other day. Today heart burt made me have bad acid reflux. My stomach doesn't like alot foods before I was pregnant so it's double now that I am pregnant. I just get worried that like today the baby was gonna lack nutrients if I threw so much. Finally able to get food down and hold it there...

I didn't have that happen. When I was pregnant with my first I had morning sickness all day and sometimes at night. When I was pregnant with my second I had nausea all day but was fine when I sat up in bed to go to sleep. What else have you tried to help with nausea?
