Hi all, just joined the group.... I REALLY need advice! I'm pregnant with #2, had almost no morning sickness with #1, but this time around EVERYTHING makes me feel ill... even kissing my husband...

I always thought people exaggerated.. but this is unreal!

I'm almost six weeks pregnant. I've been feelilng really good... until yesterday. I could manage though. Today is unbearable. I have 4 month old triplets to take care of. I can barely move. I feel so sick. So, I feel for you, girl!

I am 8 weeks pregnant. I have been having really bad nausea but not vomiting. Crackers seem to help. My friend suggested ginger supplements. I asked my doctor and she said it's safe because it's a natural herb. She suggested I take a low dosage and not for a prolonged time, just for the next few weeks. I feel much better. I was drinking ginger ale but that would give me dry heaves, so the ginger supplements work. I bought them at GNC.

I feel your pain.  I couldn't keep food down at all for the first 14 weeks.  I was throwing up at least 3 times a day. I ended up in the ER with dehydration.  If you have it this bad, ask your doctor for prescription Zofran.  This was a miracle drug.  As soon as I took it, it was like I was a brand new woman.  Good luck, and hope you feel better.

Hi guys!

I am happy to report that the morning sickness has passed.  I do get it now and again at night, but it is not that bad anymore.  I am now 17 weeks, we found out that it is another boy.

The only thing I am struggling with at the moment is my toddler of almost three wanting me to pick him up all the time. Should i mention that he is a big boy of about 18kg's.....

He constantly want attention... Am I going to cope with two children?

Thank you for all the advice..much appreciated!

Hi there! I had morning/evening sickness with #2 and even worse with #3! Lemons in everything is all that has saved me. Really thirsty too. Sorry that you are in the same boat as I! Best of Luck!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and have bad morning sickness as well. It was even worse in my 1 st pregnancy, but didn't usually start until late afternoon through bed time. This time around, it's slightly less intense, but lasts all day long. Harder this time 'cause I have a toddler who obviously needs a lot of attention!!! I just want to lay on the couch in a ball at times. Hopefully it'll subside soon (they say at around 12 weeks, although last time lasted until about 16).
Very happy though 'cause the hormones are raging!!! :)

My first pregnancy was like this, and it lasted the whole way through. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Have you talked to your doctor yet? I wish I had, but I was quite young back than.

Im in my first pregnancy! Im so glad I'm out of that phase. It took me about 14 to 15 weeks to get feeling back to normal. (I can finally eat most things again!) I found that pretzels rods really helped me get through that first phase. That, and after talking to my doctor, I got medicine to help me keep food down. I hope this helps and you get to feeling better!!!
