Morning sickness

What has helped you deal with morning sickness? Today was a particularly bad day for me, and I really need to find something that eases my stomach! Any advice would be helpful!

if it's in the morning have some saltine crackers next to your bed so before you get up you can get a couple in to ease your stomach and during the day saltine crackers and water, and they have ginger snaps the ginger is supposed to ease nausea it seemed like it made me sicker oh and i wouldnt recommend anything sour or tart because it will probably upset your stomach more. good luck

I had really bad morning sickness with vomiting throughout my pregnancy. I tried ginger pops and sweets, pickled ginger, ginger tea, mint tea, marie biscuits, but nothing worked for me. I felt a bit better when I ate small meals constantly, mostly toast and cheese and fruit. I started the morning with salty biscuits next to my bed just to have something in my stomach. I also drank little bits of fluid at a time. Each time I vomited I ate something again and tried to drink a little bit of water. Hope it gets better soon for you!

candyied ginger or my new favorite- MetroMint water. It is water with peppermint in it and has helped me this pregnancy.

I was sick all the way thru 23 weeks...I couldn't keep anything down in the begining and lost 15 doctor put me on Zofran and it made an incredicible difference..i was only sick like 1-2 times a week from 16 weeks to 23 weeks when it finally went away. Good luck, hope you feel better soon

the only thing that helped me was keeping something in my stomach at all times. Saltines or bread just something light. I found eating every couple of hours just small meals or snacks worked well

Hi there. This advice may be somewhat controversial but I found it helped me a lot. I took a pharmacy medicine with the active ingredient 'Doxylamine' in tablet form (NOT gel caps). It is an anti-nausea tablet and it was wonderful. I only took 1/4 to 1/2 a tablet on the days I felt really bad. I think it is a Category B drug (been tested during pregnancy, no known bad effects on fetus but also not extensive research done). Look it up online and talk to your doctor about it. I needed something as I was travelling (flying) a lot. I found it wonderful but taking a drug during pregnancy is a very personal choice. Do your research first. HTH xx

They also gave me medicine like Pepcid and Zofran... to help with did little...i slept lot tho

There are also these little candy like things that you can get. They are called Preggie Pop Drops. I have found them at Babies r us and Motherhood Maternity. But they work wonders...only thing that helped me get through it. Good luck and hope you can get some relief.

Talk to your Doctor and tell him or her about it,and like mine did for me when I had it for 7 months,in the beginning they gave me pills that stop it,but not a lot of them.If it is to the point where you can't keep food or water down they will resort to that,if it's just morning sickness sometimes,you just have to deal it will go away it's only for a little bit.

For me ginger gum did the trick, specially in the morning because is faster than anything else. During the day, pickled ginger or just ginger A piece of cheese does it too.Something salty.
