Hi everyone! Im a mother of one so far and am expecting! im about 10 weeks pregnant and I ws wondering does the heart rate of your baby have anything to do with the gender of your baby? at ten weeks the heart rate was said to be 150 bpm and i drank cappicino right before and the baby was moving a whole lot. is the heart rate increased since it was moving?

my daughters heart rate was always around 170bpm during her ultrasounds/dopplers to hear the heartbeat. my sons heart rate has so far been consistently around 150bpm. both of my babies have stayed consistent around a certain number regardless of what I drank/ ate that may get them hoppin' in there lol. the wivestales say that 140bpm and below-boy. 140bpm and above-girl. evidently for my family 150bpm is the cut off for boy (my brother was also in the 150s while my sisters and me were all over 165). congrats on your little bean! :)
