I had all day long nausea and vomiting soince week 4 and lasted up to week 8. I eased my condition with the help of ginger ale and No to morning sickness tea.

My dr just gave me RX meds for it . I couldnt even keep soda down , including ginger ale . EVERYTHING was coming up I even started throwing up blood from where my esophegus [spelling? ] was getting irriated and raw . The pills help , but yes you have to take them either regularly , or catch the queezies before they get too bad .
If you are having that bad a time it is worth it to take them every 6-8 hours . With me it was an easy decision ... I had not kept anything , including sprite or ginger ale down in several days and I was a mess . and the hungrier I got the sicker it made me to eat ,smell food or even think about food . My hubby mentioned some food item and I lost my belly again .

I was sick so bad first trimester, I couldn't keep anything down. Everything suggested for morning sickness, came back up. I had a serious aversion to crackers, bananas, and 7-up. I used the suppositories, but those are like colon cleansers! lol I tried the pills & those only work if you take them EVERY 6-8 hours. You can't just take them when you start to feel nauseated. Otherwise, it defeats the whole purpose!

If you want something inexpensive, suck on lemons.

Oh my, yes they helped very much! I went from being in bed unable to eat anything but crackers and sprite to getting up and having a full day!! I have heard that they don't help some people, but I was lucky to be one they helped a lot.

Lemons, crackers, peppermint, sprite, try having just a little bit of food in your stomach all the time. This time around I have such bad morning sickness that I actually have to take pills that were prescribed by my doctor. Just keep trying things. That's how i found the things that worked for me. Good luck!

the only thing that helped me in my first pregnancy was eating at night cuz it was the only time my stomache was calm. otherwise keeping my stomache full was how i got thru it
