I am 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and for the past 3 days, I've had non stop menstrual type cramping. I've had baby checked and baby is fine and happy :) however, this pain is getting so bad when it hits ( comes in waves), that I can't sleep at night without taking gravol because I feel sick to my stomach. (Had no morning sickness, back pain, heartburn, etc). I don't know what to do :( I've been to the ER and seen a bunch of doctors and they just send me home afterwards. I've never had BH either. I don't know if I've gone into early labour or preterm labour or if my body is preparing for delivery. All the doctor said to me was to be prepared to go into labour any time now and that if I deliver at 36 weeks, it will be okay because I've pretty much carried to term. I also keep getting this sharp 'zapping' feeling in my cervix on and off as well....*help* :s

Yes I did ! If you want your baby to come early, walk. Do LOTS of walking, sex, squats, etc. if not, don't do a single thing! I wasn't due till the 27th of january and my water broke January 1st. Because my body was already in early labour, it broke my water and 21 hours later, my daughter was born. It was extremely scary as well since I have a UTI and BV. So be very careful. If you are showing signs of preterm labour or early labour, listen to your body and take it easy. Don't do any heavy lifting or excessive walking as before you will know it, you'll be picking up the phone calling 911 saying your water just broke ! Good luck!

I am exactly the same way right now and I will be 36 weeks in 2 days. I have a dr apt on monday and will be bringing this up. Have you heard anything else on that?
