Pregnant & Loosing A Lot Of Weight

I am 17 weeks pregnant and have lost almost 20 pounds. I have had constant morning sickness. The doctor has tried me on my different medications, but nothing seems to work. I am getting very concerned about the amount of weight that I have lost and the fact that the doctor does not seem to be concerned about it at all. Any suggestions?

I was super nauseous and was unable to keep down my meals. Here I entered the kitchen and nausea and vomiting started vigorously. But, finally I found a remedy that worked wonder and my sickness vanished. No to morning sickness tea was a lifesaver to me.

I am almost 7 weeks and have lost 7lbs. I am overweight , I am sure the baby will get enough nourishment. Like you I have alot of nausea and vomiting, I started vit b 6 and the 6 band which is helping the nausea.

Hi! I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have lost 33 pounds so far! My doctor is not concerned at all because I was overweight prior to my pregnancy. As long as you are eating properly and the baby is developing on target, they will not be worried. My Ob/Gyn put me on a special diet during my last visit. 5 - 6 small meals a day and high protein. It's been working so far so good!

I had a lot of morning sickness during the whole day form week 6-12 with this baby. I'm just getting better now and i'm 12 1/2 weeks. I had days where i could not even think about food, opening the fridge made me want to run to the bathroom.... you can try eating bananas and also bagels with peanut butter...

That really helped me, i actually did gain a few pounds in the last few weeks.

Are you keeping your vitamin down?

I don't think your doctor is worried b/c the baby is developing well and seems to be getting the nutrition it needs
