Question about Lactation (22wks pregnant)

Ok I am 22 weeks pregnant and for the past week my breast have felt like they were going to explode. but I started lactating today, a very very little bit but I squeezed them, just out of curiosity for the most part, and started leaking a bit more(still not very much) but after I did that they stopped hurting for a few hours and then they started hurting again. so my question is, is it okay to start maybe pumping by hand occasionally to keep my breasts from hurting? I plan on breast feeding and I didn't know if this hindered milk production or if it would stop the production of chlostrum prematurely or any other negative effects it may have.

I was told not to do that to mine because It can cause you to go into labor prematurely, but I'm definitely not an expert so I would ask your doctor if I were you.
