Ok so I am about 26 weeks pregnant and this is my very first baby. So he kicks me alot if im hungry or sad or if hes just moving around. Anyway, one day he moves around alot and another day he doesnt really move at all. Should I be concerned?

If it is a normal thing for the baby to be active one day n then be still the next then its perfectly normal. He's probably tiring himself one day and wants to relax the next! You should do a count of how many kicks a day n see if the next time he's active its about the same. That's what doctors recommend if you are worried. Hope that helps :)

Babies movement patterns can change from day to day. The further along you get, and the more restricted they are in space, the less their movements will be. But keep in mind you should feel your baby move a few times throughout the day. If they cease all movement for more than 24 hours then you should become concerned. My son will kick me for an hour or two at a time one day and only kick once every hour the next day. Its pretty normal.

Yes and no...with my first baby I felt kicks, what seemed like every other week or so, but with this baby (i'm 27 weeks) I get kicked all day and sometimes at night. I even get kicked on schedule. Every morning I wake up at about 7:30, but at 8:00 she kicks me every time if I have not eaten much by then...she's my little alarm clock.. but now even at night she's on a bit of a sked. She wants me to eat at about 2am like almost every day this week, this has been a bit of a challenge.....

Oh and my first bab, she used to hit me about 24 times in a row to get me to do things like eat, sit, rest, what ever..lol.. I used to count her hits, kicks..she is much like the same now that she is here as well.

No problem :) I'm glad he's active. You can always ask your doctor and he/she will reassure that.

Thank you for the advice. It really helps. My son probably just wore himself out by moving around alot. He was moving around alot today which is good.
