Has anyone else experienced a return of morning sickness in the third trimester? I had horrible all-day sickness throughout the first trimester- I lost about 13 pounds in two months. It went away around week 14 or 15. Now I'm 35 weeks and I've been feeling horrible again. I think I can mostly attribute it to heartburn and eating bad on certain days, but I've had a few bouts of vomitting the last couple weeks which I thought I had left far behind me. It's definitely not a stomach bug or any kind of illness, because I'll start to feel sick, go throw up and then feel 100% better. Anyone else experience this?

I had the same thing with my first pregnancy. There are many things you can try.
- use tums for heartburn
- eat very very small meals (max an apple with 1 tablespoon peanut butter) several times a day
- make sure you are eating lots of foods from all the food groups, too much of anything can upset you
- try to eat blander foods
Basically my issue was my baby had grown to a size that left very little room in my stomach, keeping a small supply of food coming on a more regular basis really helped. Normal morning sickness is linked to an extreme change in hormone levels, although this happens throughout the pregnancy and post- partum it is most extreme in the first trimester, if sickness is related to a hormone change you can only deal with it like you did in the first trimester with lemons and hard candy.
Good luck

i'm 39 weeks pregnant and have been going through that for a couple weeks now. i haven't thrown up yet (but i didn't too much in the beginning either). i just get extremely nauseous and feel like i'm going to. the best suggestion i can give is to try Preggie Pop Drops if u haven't already. they have become my life saver all over again. u can get them at any maternity store, babies-r-us, or target. they really do help. good luck,
