What Can I Do

I am 37 weeks and having a number of discomforts. I keeping thinking with all the symptoms I MUST be close to labor (like within a day or two), but nothing. I started losing my mucus plug 5 days ago. Not a bloody show, but out of all my pregnancies (this is #4) ive never lost a bloody mucus plug. Pretty sure I've lost all or most of it now. In the last 4 days I've been having loose stools/diarrhea. I've been told this is a major early labor symptom, but it's not one I've experienced in previous pregnancies. My doctor said I was 1 cm 6 days ago. I can't sit up straight, walk, or lay on my back w/o pain in my back or my pelvis. I am having constant shooting pains in my vagina. I'm not haing a lot of contractions but when I do they are very painful, my face and ears start burning hot, and 50% of the time I feel pain in my pelvis/vagina. Im also nausea a lot and get out of breath just walking from my bedroom to my kitchen. Im also having pain in my right inner thigh. I feel very frustrated and I'm not sure what I can do to feel better. Or if there is anything I can ask my doctor to do for me. Suggestions?

Just call your doctor and explain your symptoms so they can offer you advice or relief or bring you in for an exam if need be. You can be in early labor but the only way they'll know is if they check you physically. They'll let you know if you can continue to rest at home or if active labor and delivery is imminent. Don't wait. Good luck!
