talk to your doc about it. I was always told that anything in excess is bad.. that you should eat and drink healthy and well balanced all around.. I use to love the energy drinks.. you could always take one with you so your doc can see what ingredients are in them and let you know more about it.

Caffeine can be pretty bad for babies while pregnant. I really like having a soda every once and a while to wake me up and energy type drinks, but I stopped completely since I got pregnant because some of them have well over the amount you are allowed per day in just one can!!! I also have been avoiding chocolate because they have caffeine as well!
Here is an article that helped me learn about caffeine and how much can be safe and the consequences that can occur. I also just googled how much caffeine was in certain products to know how much I could eat/drink safely based on the max per day standard. It really sucks, but I just didn't want to worry about anything happening!!

I am always craving Pepsi but try not to give in. IF there is a place with crushed ice, I can't help but indulge. I drink one cup of coffee on Sundays after church but stopped making it because the smell made me naseaus. This is #3 and basically all I cut out was alcohol when I was pregnant with my two fabulous girls. I think your body tells you when you have had enough. Once in awhile I drink a NA beer and the carbination or something makes me feel dehydrated so I can't ever finish 1 even though it tastes so good with pizza!

I drink caffeine at places that don't have the caffeine free sodas. I drink alot of water while I am at work, and drink Root Beer at home also sun tea. When I was pregnant with my daughter 10 years ago I drank nothing but Mt. Dew while pregnant and she turned out fine. But now I can't stand the taste of Mt. Dew.

ha ha .. its ok I seem to crave everything that I'm not suppose to have.... I try to be good.. and I don't do anything like drink or smoke.. If you are really craving one, maybe just drink half or something.. that's what I try to do.. like when I crave coffee and caffiene and such like that... I talk to my doc about that and he stresses to just really limit that type stuff... good luck at your next appt :)
