Your baby is protected by the fluid in your uterus. The placenta actually feeds the baby and supplies blood and oxygen. I would not worry unless you have any spotting, like Amanda said.
I have a two year old who is almost constantly elbowing me in the belly or pushing on it in some way, and I am 81/2 months.
The baby is very protected in there.

How hard was it? And spotting after ward? Is the baby still moving? If not I wouldn't be to concerned. The placenta is very strong and protects the baby. I used to work at a daycare and was 6 months along and a little girl kicked me twice very hard in belly it hurt and my son was perfectly fine. But if you are really concerned call your doctor. :D
