You know you're a farm mom when. . .

. . .You're doing chores and find a few eggs so you put them in your baby carrier w/ the baby!
. . .Other parents you know tell their kids not to play with sticks - you encourage it!
. . . Your 2-yr old knows more about the "birds and the bees" than most adults.
. . .Your 2-yr old can milk a cow.
. . .Your kid's first words were all animal noises.
. . .Your kid knows how to start the 4-wheeler from 18 mos. (but you're thankful he can't reach the gears yet!)

You know your a farm mom when your 15 month old...likes playing with the chickens and ducks...knows when mom says that she has to take care of the babies that your going to take care of the baby birds...Walks up to the 16hh horse without fear and rubs face...laughs when the cows lick the child's hand...rides on a tractor at 6 months with when you (as a mom) make sure everyone (including the animals) get's fed before you...doesn't understand why people pay more for brown eggs at the store...wear boots/mud boots and don't own (or only own 1) pair of heels/flats/tennis shoes...explain birth to a 6 yr old using horse/cow terms...

I loved the one about sticks, my son feels naked without a stick and a rock in his hand. You know you're a farm mom when:

Your child takes a nap on the fertilizer bags

Your child is teaching adult city friends how to collect eggs and catch chickens

Your child prefers the carrots with dirt still on it

Your child considers gumboots and underwear perfectly acceptable attire to walk outside in

Your child prefers to pee outside

Can't wait to see what other people add!
