my son just doesnt seem to care that he poops his pants. the only thing that seems to be working is bribing him with stickers. or he tells me after he had already went potty in the diapers and pull ups. when will he get it??

Him telling you that he has gone is the first step, it means that he is realizing that something is going on down there and that he needs to do something about it. So good job for him - and for you!

With my daughter (who is 4 now) I had the little potty and then I would put the little seat on the toilet. She didn't like either one. Pull ups were a waist on her. She couldn't feel the feel and learn ones and she didn't care about the learning design ones. She trained out of diapers and underware. Once she figured out how to get herself on the toilet without my help, she was potty trained. That was the week she turned 2, since then she has only had a handful of accidents.

My son (32 months old now) has been much harder. I didn't use the little potty or the small seat. He has been using pull ups lately, and they seem to be doing the trick. I found ones with monster trucks and tires that fade when wet - he LOVES cars and trucks. He HATES it when he looses his tires.

Something else that I've done with both of them is take them to the store and let them pick out their OWN underware. They are the ones wearing it, they should at least like it!

i hated pull ups. i always put both of my boys straight into underware. of course if we went out that is a different story. u just need to watch for this signs. im sure he does some kind of sign before he goes to poop in his pants so when u figure that sign out just watch for it and put him on the potty the second u see him doing it.
