I have a theory that the Huggies work better for babies with chubby thighs and the Pampers are better for the skinny kiddos. My son has super slender thighs and the Huggies seem to fill up, get heavy and pull away from his groin causing leaks. The Pampers stay tight against him, thus preventing leaks. However, if you are a Huggies fan, Costco's Kirkland brand is IDENTICAL to the Huggies Supreme!!!

Huggies and Huggies Night time. I get coupns all the time and go to the rewards website for huggies also. I have used Huggies for all of my five children.

When my daughter was first born, we used Pampers till about 3 months then we switched to Huggies because her diaper wouldn't last throughout the night, we have had no problems with Huggies.

i think it all depends on your little one. We use huggies it seemed to not leak and the fit was better and never get rashes from huggies

Huggies always left a goo on my oldest daughter's bottom. I like Pampers but I use Luvs. All of my kids used Luvs.

My daughter wears cloth nappies(what we call diapers: Stegi - a South African brand) She is allergic to the floral fragrance in Pampers, so I will use a Huggies at night sometimes so she doesn't wake as often. Personally I think its really your choice - though I would recommend reading up on natural and cloth nappies - they are better for the environment and because they have no bleach or fragrance in them, they are actually better for your child!

I use both, but prefer Pampers! At night we use the overnights, which Huggies and Pampers both have.

We use cloth diapers unless we are traveling then we use Gdiapers. We have never had issues and love our diapers.

I got leaks with pampers cruisers, but had no problem with the huggies or 7th generation. My SIL swears by pampers. I think it depends on the baby.

HUGGIES for sure! My little boy had Pampers just when he was an infant (since the hospital gave us tjust that), but I agree with Stephanie hands down!! I have had NO accidents with Huggies lil movers. He has been on Huggies since he was an infant and we are now on size 4 and still doing well... :) But, I have heard though that Pampers works well for girls and huggies better for boys. I do believe that, having seen both in the infant sizes. Huggies definitely is built more for boys (if you know what I mean). Pampers would always be tight at his groin for him...

Huggies, DEFINITELY! My daughter was leaking through the Pampers almost every night...it didn't matter if we changed her right before she went to sleep or not. If she slept through the night we could bet on her peeing through her Pampers. So when we moved up to size 3 we decided to give Huggies and they are wonderful!!! They seem to have more coverage and absorb more. In my opinion it's hands down, Huggies is better.

I like Luvs. They're the same as Pampers but like $5 cheaper a box. I'll useanything on my son though. He doesn't have bad reactions to any of them and he only poo's and pee's in them.

I swear by pampers baby dry. My child has only had about 3 bad diaper rashes and only when I had to buy cheap diapers. The day after I switch back to pampers the rash went away (With help of bath soaking and rash cream). It keeps my baby dry all night long. They help conserve diapers and keep her rash free!

My daughter is allergic to everything except Pampers. Huggies were the worst for her. They gave her a bloody rash...I have heard that Huggies are better for boys and Pampers for girls.

I like the Baby Dry better than the Cruisers though and they are a little cheaper, well same price but more in the box. :)

We love Pampers. All the other brands of diapers aren't as good and they give my daughter a diaper rash.

We started out just using Huggies because my brother-in-law works for the company that makes them. I bought a pack of Pampers, just to check them out. Huggies, all the way.

I prefer the Huggies Lil Movers over the Pampers Cruisers. But for nighttime diapers, I prefer the Pampers Extended Protection ( I think is the name) over the Huggies Overnites. I have had problems with the Huggies Overnites leaking with my chunky guy.

im in australia and pampers have only just come here so i thought i would give them a go....... i so don't like them, much prefer huggies. not sure if they are different to the ones you may have in the USA but i wont be buying them again. they are really thin and when poppy wets they go all bulky and when you pick her up it feels all squishy!!!

[deleted account]

Any kind of Huggies but the REGULAR HUGGIES I found I had leakage problems... and the natural care, if you don't change baby as soon as they pee it starts breaking down and it's a HUGE MESS!! Both my girls were allergic to any diaper but Huggies, within one diaper change they would break out into rash and bleed... NO FUN! I say try them both for you and see what you like. I have a friend that swears by Pampers, and I live for Huggies (I tended a little guy who wore Pampers and he ALWAYS leaked).

I have 6 children, the oldest is 25 and the youngest is 1. I have used Huggies for all my children. I have tried and used pampers here and there and never quite like them as much as Huggies. To me they have a funny odor after they have been wet in. I buy mine at Toys R Us and they cost the same.

i use pampers for the most part. my son has leaked in them before but only once or twice since birth (his overnight diaper). he doesnt have a problem with any other diaper brand but daddy prefers the pampers. really you should just buy a small pack of diapers and try them out til you find the one that works for your baby. what works for some babies may not work for you. i have one friend who will only use cloth diapers since they are allergic to store diapers and in her words "they dont work for crap".

i always preffered pampers but i do really like the huggies lil movers!! I just got samples from pampers for their new cruisers coming out later this month, apparently they are suppose to be just as leak proof but less bulky, i think if you go to their website you can ask for sample. So i get to see how those are!!

I am all for Pamers Cruisers. I like them over the Huggies lil' Movers BY FAR. However, I have to say Huggies wipes are ALOT better than Pampers wipes. They seem to be alot more cloth-like.

As a mommy to 3 kids I by far prefer Pampers! I do however HAVE to use Huggies on my 1 year old she can only have hypo allergenic diapers and Pampers only makes hypo allergenic diapers for size newborn, size 1 and 2. So right now i have to use Huggies Pure and Natural diapers. I don't like them but her eczema requires hypo allergenic EVERYTHING.

I have used Pampers cruisers with both my children. I was having leak problem with huggies.

[deleted account]

Huggies worked better when my son was a baby, but Pampers works best on my daughter right now. Never leaks from the Pampers Cruisers!

But...for night time for both of my kids (son as a baby and daughter now), I've always used Huggies Nighttime diapers. They hold so much more! My daughter would get too wet at night, usually around 3am, and wake up crying. Discovered it was because she had such a wet diaper. With the Huggie Nighttime diapers, she makes it all night!

I prefer huggies as they seem to hold all night, but they don't do many offers for them in the shops so I tend to buy pampers as you get more for you money and that is always the bottom line for me

It all depends on the kid. Number 1 was pampers only. Number 2 was pampers/luvs. Number 3 was only huggies (issues with everything else). Number 4 I prefer huggies but keep being given pampers because that is what my niece uses. I always have coupons for huggies too!

huggies always leaked for our first 3, then came our chunky #4 and they are the best for him to prevent leaks! i say - whatever doesn't leak is the best for your child.

[deleted account]

No offence to the question or the other comments but i dont use any of those as i try to go green, at the end of the day if we want the best for our babies, the world they are going to live in is very important now and in the long term and to know that tons of nappies are going to be around for years, its awful
my baby and now toddler has use nature baby care and so far no leakage or any other issue.

My LO has been allergic to Pampers since she was born. I liked the Huggies swaddlers, but the Lil Movers leak on DD. The Snug N Dry also caused allergic reactions, so we switched to cloth.
