Meds aren't safe during pregnancy to get rid of sickness. Instead, I have got rid of my severe nausea/sickness with the help of No to morning sickness tea!!!

I am in the exact same boat, with ALL DAY sickness. I use little hard candies call "B Natal" they have vitamin B6 which seems to help me a lot. Also I had my doctor prescribe me an antinausea, its called ondansetron. This is what takes the edge off for me, although I am still nausious most of the day, I'm not throwing up anymore. But now that I am entering my second trimester Im feeling a lot better... hopefully your almost out of the woods!

My first pregnancy I had neusea and throwing up from 3 weeks until 20 weeks, then nausea until 32 weeks. It was awful but found lemonade, b6 vitamins, salt and vinegar chips, chocolate and hot chips worked well.

This pregnancy I had night and day nausea and queasiness where I wore sea sickness bands and that helped take the ease off, along with a natural remedy nausea spray. But now I don't have the nausea anymore, just a little throw up in the morning and I'm ok to get through the day. Thank god it's not so bad this time around. I can handle puking, just not feeling yuck day and night!

I hate MS! Hate it, hate it, hate it. I'm on Zofran, but I'm still dealing with bouts of nausea. My doc said it should be clearing up by the time I hit my second trimester...guess we'll see.

Both of my pregnancies have given me morning sickness day and night, but this one is different because I can't just go to bed (have a toddler running around). I have noticed if I keep something in my stomach, every 2 hours or so, it does help....good luck. Hopefully it'll pass for both of us.

I am also on my second pregnancy and am really sick almost all day. However, I was this sick when I was preggers with my daughter also. I am 11 weeks and I swear it is getting worse. My Dr. put me on Phenerghan which worked for a little while but doesn't seem to be working anymore. I can only take 1/2 of one at a time because a whole pill makes me tired and I have an almost 3 yr. old to take care of. I just try to eat what I can and I sit on the couch really still a lot, esp. after I eat. I try to sleep as much as possible, too and try to go to bed early. Sometimes all I can do is sit hear and cry. It did eventually get better when I was pregnant with my daughter, so aI have hope it will do the same this time around. Also, my Dr. told me to drink pedialyte to keep me hydrated after getting sick and it does work a little because it restores electrolytes. I hope you feel better soo, I feel your pain! Good Luck!

I was feeling really well until I reached 7 weeks then I got sick. Stay on the sofa all day sick. Our a/c got fixed and now I feel so much better. It looks like the heat was causing most of my morning sickness. Thank goodness crank up the cold air and get the house clean, clothes washed and kids entertained.

LOL! That is pretty funny! I don't even know what it was about the smell, I just HAD to get away from it and fast! There wasnt anything with DS(2nd baby) that set me off.

Though my all-day-morning sickness has set in!! I am so unimpressed! lol. I can't even look at food without feeling sick! I realized how bad it was last night when we were making spagetti and meat sauce for supper. I took one smell of the the sauce and had to leave the kitchen! I now can't wait to get in to see my OB, since i know nothing works for me! Then i can get my trusty diclectin! I wish i didn't have to take it to survive my first trimester, but i dont think i would be able to eat without it!

With DD the thing that set me off was the smell of coffee. I'd feel sick when i got up. Would get to work, and have to put coffee on(i was working in a restaurant), and i was instantly sick. I spent most of those mornings sitting on the floor curled around a garbage bin full of ice because i would get hot flashes with the nausea. Thankfully my co-workers were awesome and didn't mind taking care of me, and doing some of the opening. lol. I dont know what i wouldve done without them!

So funny! The day I found out I was pregnant with this one, my husband and I had to take my son (then 10 months) to the Children's hospital  for an ultrasound of his kidneys and a VCUG (they had to catheterize him and inject dye - SO sad!). Anyway, I was so excited to find out I was pregnant, and when we went to register, the lady called me in, and said, "Is that coffee?" and I said it was, and she asked me to leave it in the waiting room. I was so confused....then when we got back to her office, she said she's pregnant and coffee doesn't agree with the baby! It made a lot more sense then. It's so funny how some things just set us off, isn't it? With my last one, the smell of my husband's soap really grossed me out! But I couldn't figure it out at first, and I had to try to explain why anytime he got close to me, I got nauseous! lol

I had a horrible food moment tonight. :-(

I made sandwhiches and salad for me and DD tonight. DH was working late and it was just way too hot out to cook even with the AC on. I was looking forward to my salad. I took one bite and felt like i was going to be sick, I had to put the salad away because it just made it worse. I've never really had that happen before...

With DS there wasn't any ONE thing that set me off, i had all day sickness....didn't matter what i ate or drank.

I'm still not quite sure which is worse.

I had horrible morning sickness with my first--so bad I was prescribed B6 and 1/2 unisom at night. What ever it was worked wonders--up until the day of delivery-the day I found out I was pregnant I started taking it again--so far just a bit queasy :)

I am feeling very lucky, I have had very little morning sickness and it is only when I've gone too long without eating. I hope that keeps up, I wasn't so luck with my other pregnancies. Milk worked for one, nothing for the other.

I had horrible morning sickness with both my other pregnancies. It was so bad with both my dr had to precribe diclectin because i literally could NOT function. I couldn't even get out of bed because i was so nauseated. I haven't had much yet, but its still really early for me.

I don't really have any remedies, because NOTHING i tried worked for me.... :-(

Yuck! I didn't have any sickness with my first, except for when I smelled things occasionally that just hit me the wrong way. Also, if I got hungry, and my stomach was empty, I'd get nauseous, but I never actually threw up. So far with this one, I haven't even gotten nauseous (knock on wood), but diapers changes with my son are getting a little dicey! That poopy diaper seems to have MUCH more of an effect on me than it did a month ago! lol

My mom said she always used to keep 7up and crackers next to her bed, and as soon as she woke up, she would eat and drink - before she even got out of bed, and that helped to keep the nausea from starting. Good luck!

i will try the crackers and 7 up and see if that helps its not like REALLY bad sickness or anything like i haven't gotten sick its just the annoyance...of not being able to eat as much or as often as i used to...and with my first i had none

I got through my first pregnancy on starburst. The sourness would take away the nausea. This time I haven't figured out what works. I have been so sick with broncitis on top of themorning sickness that the morning sickness didn't seem as bad. Now that I am getting over that I am feeling more morning sickness. Lemon ices have some effect, I have also heard(never tried) preggie pops that you can buy at Motherhood Maternity work wonders.

I sometimes feel a little queezy in the evening, but otherwise have been fine so far. What I did with my last pregnancy is to eat every 2 hours when not asleep, and to have some dry crackers by the bed, and eat a few before I even got up in the morning. Ginger (dried, or in cookies) is supposed to help to, but I hate the taste so never tried them.
