so I had to switch formula, still on similac but using sensitive rs, it has rice in it. Now that he is eating he is going longer between feedins , should i be worried i dont want to over feed, he used to go every 4 hours between feedings and now he has gone 5 so far and he is still sleeping. I know i shouldnt comlain but I want to make sure. they say that 2 month olds should eat every 4 hours.

I wouldnt worry. The rice is expanding in his stomach and making him fuller longer. My dd is on enfamil a/r which also has rice.

Babies go through growth spurts so my son used to eat 6 oz every 2 1/2 hours, but now he waits another half our or hour to eat. My son is 4 months old. I let him tell me when he's hungry by getting fussy. I think it's easier that way. But if your baby is napping...let him sleep! lol He will wake when he's hungry.
