I lost my mom a month ago and haven't had time to grieve. I have three children three and under and rarely have a minute to myself. I feel so guilty. Anyone else experienced this?

My kids were 8 and 5 when my dad passed.I liked that I didnt have to think about is passing.I would cry at night ,get up and be a mom and wife.

Sorry to hear you lost your mom.. you have my condolences. There is no need to feel any guilt, you will find the time to grieve for your loss. As of right now you have 3 little ones to take care of, and 3 children under the age of 3 is quite a handful.. I know, I have 3 children myself (aged 6,5 and almost 4). I am sure your mom would want you to go on with your life and that you will shed your tears for her in good time. Time does help with the pain, for me it hasant gone away, and I doubt it ever will.

I lost my mom 8 yrs ago, 3 months before I got married. Things were hectic with the wedding and I also went into take care of my dad mode & never really grieved like I should have. I then lost my dad 3 yrs after that, when my daughter was 8 months old, I think I did some grieving but was also busy taking care of my daughter & going through the house that we had to sell. A lot came crashing down on me when I had my son and I had some post partum depression. I had also experienced 2 miscarriages in that time! I still feel like I didn't take the time I should have to grieve, especially for my mom. I still have moments when I just lose it or I'm just angry! So I feel that it is necessary to try to take the time to grieve or eventually it will catch up to you!
