hi i had an ectopic in july last year, i had to have emergency surgery to have my left tube taken out so i am only left with one tube but both ovaries, i have been pregnant a few times since but they have sadly ended in miscarriages, we are trying again but no luck just yet but last miscarriage was only few months ago, someone who i met on here also had one of her tubes taken out and is now succesfully pregnant (nearly 5 months), with u still having both ur tubes i shouldnt see a problem with u getting pregnant again, was it hard for u to concieve before ur ectopic? at first i was nervous trying again incase the same happened, luckily i already have 2 beautiful boys already, have u been trying since ur ectopic in febuary?

Our stories are similar, except when they gave you the medicine, i was having the surgery. feb23. We were 7 weeks. We have been trying all month. And got the dissapointing period yesterday. My due dat would be oct 10th, so we were hoping to be pregnant by then. I guess we just keep trying.

thanks they are my world, yeh it is different when u already have children, with my ectopic pregnancy i got my hcg levels tested from the day i was late aswell because i was bleeding slightly, they kept doing my hcg levels and relised they were not rising as they should but still left me longer and kept on scanning me to see if they could see anythin on scan, eventually they seen it was in my tube i was 6 weeks pregnant by then, they give me the methotraxate needle to brake the pregnancy up but because they left me so long it didnt work and a week later at 7 weeks i had emergency surgery to have my left tube out, i was devestated, it was so easy for me to get pregnant before my ectopic, but i have been pregnant 3 times since, i think u have a good chance of concieving again, my chance has been cut down to 80% with one tube so urs will be alot higher

We haven't been "trying", not since. but We did just start, hoping things will go good. Dont know what to expect, just trying not to let my head get ahead of me. We had a miscarrige before having our now 2year old, then the ectopic last feb. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!!!! Im very lucky to have been able to save the "rupturing" tube, but only because we planned the pregnancy, so we were able to stay on top of the progress of blood hormone levals right from being a day late. Ladies, KNOW YOUR BODY!!!!~ Cathy, your two boys are adorable! So sorry to hear about everything, good luck to you getting pregnant, I think the loss is not "easier" but "different" when you already have a child to look at, Elise keeps us going, she's just my little miracle! ♥
