I have 2 daughters 5 & 3 yrs old and trying for a lucky last baby! We recently fell and I was 7 weeks when I went to hospital with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy where they removed my left tube in a laproscopic operation. I have been all good in recovery my hormone level in my blood was back down to zero within 2 weeks of my surgery and just started my first menstruation cycle after it happened. I have a gyno appointment in 2 weeks but want to start trying again asap. They've told me to wait at least 6 weeks for me to heal and I am listening.

I was just curious how long it took other women to fall after such an event. Normally I have had no troubles falling both times I went off the pill fell 2 months after. Worried it will take too long.

hi i have to boys who are nearly 5 and nearly 4, i had ectopic pregnancy nearly 2 years ago, i got told to wait 3 months to strat trying because i had the methotraxate injection first which didnt work so had to have surgery and my right tube removed, after i started trying it took me 5 months to concieve but sadly ended in miscarriage and then i got pregnant a month later but that sadly ended in miscarriage, hospital said the miscarriages had nothing to do with my previous ectopic, the hospital said if u concieved quickly before then u shouldnt have trouble concieving again, i never had any trouble concieving before my ectopic, i am in middle of tests at the hospital at moment to check my tube as i havent been pregnant now for nearly a year, so i have to have a dye test, but i think it will be ok for u if ur hcg levels have returned to normal and u have had ur period, also a friend i met on here had an ectopic pregnancy and lost one of her tubes, she started trying straight away and got pregnant within 2 weeks of trying and now she has a beautiful little girl, if u want to chat feel free to add me on facebook x

Living with endo and pcos docs told me ill probably never conceive. Im 28 now, in mid oct 2013 I went to the ER with severe pain. Pos preg test which was shocking to me! They expected ectopic. My regular doc could never locate the fetus. I passed a clot at the hospital but they said it didnt look like a fetus. I was admitted due to severe pain again. The next day they gave me methotrexate, which was the most devastating moment of my life, but pain receded in about 2 days. Now end of dec2013 still no period but have been cramping and MOOODYY! I hope to try again in feb to get preg. I wish all you women the best. It's tough losing a pregnancy. But you're not alone. Sometimes it's just nature and you can't think too much into it. That's what I tell myself. One doc also mentioned that the blood type of the father may clash with yours causing complications. Keep that in mind as well! Good luck to you all!

Hi Lisa! It good to have you apart of the group. Not for the most apparent reason though. I do hope this post finds you in good spirits despite your ordeal. I wouldlike to report, however that my family has been expanded since our ectopic. Almost a year ago today, I birthed a beautiful baby girl. The pregnancy was a rough one, but after trying for a year we conceived. I do hope you will keep trying and by the grace of God you conceive the blessing of another child. Many blessings to you and your family. Take care always.

no probs i like speaking to people on here, i went for a hospital appointment today, i had to have a dye test to see if my tube is blocked but the results come back good, but while doing it they found loads of folicles on my ovaries which is a sign of polycystic ovary syndrome but they said as my periods are regular they doubt it will be that, and then they found something on my left ovary which could be a cyst or endometriosis or where i have ovulated and then it had collapsed on itself, but they said that should resolve itself, i gotta go back in 6 wees to see if it has resolved itself, its left me with more questions than i had before now and cant stop worrying now aswell, hope u get good results this month i will keep my fingers crossed for u x
