Healthy-er Fries

Found sweet potato fries at the store. We bake them instead of frying and my toddler LOVES them. Just wanted to share. Would like to hear from anyone with other healthy-er options!!!

Yeah i have to agree, making the fries yourself is the best way. Potato or sweet potato way. I do the exact same thing as the other ladies and it takes only minutes.

I cut my sweet potatoes drizzle in olive oil ad a little cayenne pepper, pepper and tiny bit of salt. I bake them at 400 for 30-40 minutes (depending on the size of the fries). I prefer not to boil them first so I I preserve all the nutrients... I also leave the skin on as it contains so many vitamins and minerals , it's a shame to throw that away. Just make sure you rinse off any dirt. it doesn't kill anyone but it sure tastes odd. hahah

yes, you can make your own, just cut up the sweet potato/potato into chip shapes, put them in water and bring water to the boil, once boiling, tip them out. put them on baking tray drizzled with olive oil, and any seasonings you want eg. pesto, garlic, cheese then bake for 25 mintues or so.
