I am looking for healthy crockpot recipes!

Does anyone have a super simple (4-6 ingredients) crockpot recipe? I would prefer it to be a chicken recipe, but anything would do. I'm just wanting it to be very easy to make, tasty and healthy!

Have you ever tried organic 505 sauce? We put it on pork or chicken and cook all day. You can put the meat on tortillas or rolls or potatoes. Super easy and good.

Oooohhh! Cran Apple Chicken is calling out to me - yum!!! I'll have to give both of those recipes a try.

A recipe I like (and I usually make it with a beef roast, but you could use chicken instead) is called Pepperoncini Beef. All you do is get the meat, a little garlic if you like, and a jar of pepperoncinis and cook it all together. We usually put the meat on hoagies for a delicious sandwich. SUPER easy!

I just found this site and both these recipes sound great! I'll give them a try too! :D

There's another! (I'm a big fan of the crockpot!)

Cran Apple Chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

1 Tbsp brown sugar

1 c. unsweetened apple juice or cider

Place Chicken in slow cooker

Sprinkle with cranberries and apple.

Mix brown sugar in apple juice. Pour over chicken and fruit.

Cover and cook onlow 6 to 8 hours.

This is really good with the instant brown rice.

I have one that's fabulous!

Honey-Mustard Chicken

6 med sweet potatoes (I think I usually use about 4) peeled and quartered

1 sm onion, cut into thin wedges

2 1/2 lb. skinless chicken tighs and/or drumsticks (I use 4 breasts)

3/4 c. bottled honey-mustard salad dressing (I use PC Fat Free Honey Dijon)

1/2 tsp. dried rosemary

Place sweet potates and onion in slow cooker. Place chicken pieces on vegetables.

Mix salad dressing and rosemary. Pour over chicken. (I don't use rosemary and just pour from the bottle!!)

Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours.

Using slotted spoon, transfer chick and veetables to serving platter. Whisk cooking liquid until smooth. Spoon over chicken and veggies.

Ok - so apparently I modify this recipe a lot but it still tastes really yummy! This is one that we all enjoy - Ava loved it pureed too when she was a baby. I also do this one in 6 hours.

Enjoy - we sure do!
