Hi.\r\n\r\nWe live in South Africa where homeschooling has taken off in a big way over the decade or so. There are still major challenges though but the rewards make it all worth while. Please post info on the site about yourselves - where you live, what your routine is like, reasons for homeschooling etc. I\'d really like to find out what othe people are doing.\r\n\r\nHope you all have great holidays.\r\n\r\nWarm regards,\r\nKamy

hi! i am a mom of two, 5 and 4yrs old, boys. We live in Quebec,Canada and I decided to home school my youngest son due to his disabilities. He was born with major heart and brain defects. He is mentally one year behind normal children but the government decided to stuff him in an institution and i wont allow it! so here i am! its april, were moving in our brand new house in july and the home schooling will start in september. Dont forget to take alot of pictures of your kids doing all sorts of activities so that you can prove to the school board that your child is actually learning :) i am totally ready for this experience!!

I am from Papua New Guinea and I have a four year old daughter and she has started pre school. I would like to get some information on homeschooling curriculum packages available in Australia.

Is the Calvert system available in Australia?

Personally, what do you think is the best system and why?

Hi, my name is Angel. I live in Albuquerque, NM and I'm actually just exploring the idea of home schooling (my son, Logan, is only 11 months) My finance and I both had a lot of problems with school (paying attention and bullies) so we have decided to explore home schooling. I would really love some advice and maybe some useful resources that you use for your home schoolers!

HI! We are a homeschooling family in Kansas!! I have a daugher 8 a son 4 and a baby boy 8mos. We have been homeschooling for the last 2.5 years and it has been a lot of fun! We do basic book work and lots of learning on the go! We chose to homeschool because I am a Stay at home mom and I figured who better than me to teach them and guide them! Im here and I want them to learn in a comfortable working enviroment, without the distractions that take place in public schools.
