Would you be slighted, offended? Or are they just doing their job?

Personally I would…

They were just doing their job! It is very possible for parents to hide drugs on their children. I wouldn't be offended at all. I would much rather TSA be cautious than to be sorry later because they didn't check EVERYONE.

I don't think she was "groped" at all. I wouldn't be offended and would just think they were doing their job. Unfortunately there are sick people out there who use their children as mules to transport illegal substances because they think it won't be detected on a child.

Or maybe the USA has finally taken the security paranoia to far? There has got be a point when people finally say enough is enough. I live in South Africa and we have more to fear but I never seen security ever go so far. It gone from the ridiculase to the sublime.

Wow, That poor boy :(, He sent his son to school with weed?? He should be ashamed. Why would anyone want to take advantage of their child like that? It's insane.

People like him are the reason that kids have to go through what that little girl did. Ugh.

April, I heard on the news one time about this man being arrested because he sent his kindergarten age child to school with weed in the child's shoe. Apparently the child complained to the teacher that his foot was hurting so the teacher took the shoe off to see if he had a rock in there and it was pot. or maybe it was crack. I don't remember. I'll have to find it again.

Ohhhh No Way ... You go to jail for touching my kid like that. You won't touch me like that unless you buy me dinner first.

Inappropriate. Like some of you ladies stated already the girl was wearing clothes that would of shown if she had been hiding something. She's a child for goodness sake :/

Then again, you understand why they did it, because some parents are sick enough to hide things on they're children, which is sad and the reason why even children have to go through such a rigorous search.

Yes Carolyn they did! What the hell! I would be extremely offended if they put their hands on my child like that. I mean really. With the outfit the little girl was wearing, you would be able to see if she had been hiding anything. I didn't see any inappropriate touching though. The lady used the back of her hand when she was checking the butt area of the little girl. But still. The child is 6 years old.

do they check the waist of the pants on adults ? that seemed a bit much, the chest and pelvic patting seemed a bit much to me as well, especially the chest, its not like she has breast or bra to stash some heroin between ?. I dont think it was groping thought.

Did anyone else catch them saying they were doing a drug test on the 6 year old ?

I don't think it was "groping", but I don't think they need to pat down a little kid quite so intently. If the child has something on them that they shouldn't have they'll act guilty as hell (we've all seen our own kids do that).

I'm supposed to take a vacation with my family later this summer. I'm supposed to fly up north to Michigan and the more I hear about fucking TSA agents the more I DON'T want to fly at all. I especially don't want my kids (including my young infant son) to have to go through that. What a pain in the ass. I don't think that much touching on my kid is okay. It makes me very uncomfortable.
