If a man is accused in a court of law of having sexually abused a child, even if it happened a couple of decades ago, should his defense lawyer and therefore the accused have full and unfettered access to the complainants medical and/or psychiatric records dating as far back as possible?
Or should the doctor/patient confidentiality agreement be upheld in court.

Yes, they should have rights. I don't think it is confidential under those circumstances....
