Well, beings that I am always right, I never have to ;) But for real, when I am wrong....I like to officially admit that I am and try to improve on that. I do know people that will admit when they are wrong, and it is like an enabling tactic to continue their wrong doings. like if they drive drunk for instance, they admit they shouldn't have and say it was poor judgement..that it absolves them from their actions. Or if they were wrong in an argument, they admit it, but continue to be an ass. Do you know people like this? How do you handle it? Are you one of these people? Can you TRULY admit when you are wrong?

I would say 98% of the time I do. The other 2% I reserve for a-holes that don't deserve it! lol

If im wrong i will admit it. I have to proved im wrong or something is said that convinces me that maybe i need to look at things in a different way . I.E on a debate about what to call step- parents. I came out and said that i thought it wrong if a bio was involved for someone else to be called mum/dad but then i read through the posts and realised that my view was maybe because of my feelings. I did try to post it but for some reason it didn't happen. Im quite happy to admit to my children if iv'e been wrong and to say sorry but i know people,my brother, who will argue black is white regardless. I think admitting your wrong is an important growing curve which allows you to absorb and learn new things.

Having said that it doesn't mean i like to.

I have no problem admitting I am wrong as long as I know that I am 100% wrong.

I'm trying to teach my daughter that it's the right thing to do, when you're wrong, you say sorry and move on.

You learn from your mistakes, and I think it shows what kind of person you are to admit when you're wrong.

I really hate been wrong, lucky it hardly happens. Lol

I've always lived by a saying I made up when I was a teen

' It was hard to walk away because I thought I was right but it was even harder to turn around when I learned I was wrong'

I was a know it all when I was younger and you couldnt tell me different I have since learned that I was wrong in many a ways and it has a very humbuling feeling to it. So yes now I do admit when I'm wrong but I try to live my life in such a way that this doesnt happen too much and I have learned from my past. As hard as it is to do its part of life

I hate admitting it, honestly. But if I have to, I'll admit that I was wrong. But I'll hate it every second. :P

Really depends on the situation. My husband claims that I think I'm always right. So when I am wrong I proclaim my "wrongness" in order to prove him wrong LOL!

Occasionally I do make statements with authority and I have a hard time fessing up when I learn otherwise, but that is not the norm.

I do have trouble w/ it at times and tend to 'shift the blame', but have also admitted it on many, many different occasions.

I have no issue with admitting when I am wrong. Have done it before, would do it again if need be. ;) I do however, at times, need to be proved I am wrong. Other times I have proved myself wrong. LOL

No one is perfect, we all are wrong at times...

I do agree with Jodi though, sometimes there are pricks that don't deserve anything, let alone an apology.;)

I'm with Jodi. I have no problem admitting I am wrong. Although IRL I might actually be a bit of an over-apologizer. I prefer to save up all my obnoxiousness for DM :)

I have absolutely no shame in admitting when I'm wrong. I've done it many a time. No big deal.
