It said AfterBEARth, I think meaning bear, and they messed with the whole after birth, stupid really.
And I agree with the serial killer comment. ;)

It looks like something a serial killer would do. Creepy as hell to me. That's my thoughts on it. Pretty much sums it up for me.

I read the title and thought it meant 'berth' - like a sailor coming home after ship docks. lol. Guess it's time for more coffee. My mind didn't even think of this!!

Saw this on another thread earlier today. It's as EW now as it was then. I mean, who really wants their AFTERBIRTH memorialized like that? EW.

I'm not even going to look because I don't want to see placenta. Placenta makes me vomit. I have no idea why. I can dissect animals for uni biology no problem, but a placenta grosses me out. Go figure.

I'm guessing that whatever it is, I don't like it.

Ewww... and weird.
I kept my last three placentas, we had homebirths and I just kept them in the freezer. This past spring I planted Riley's under and apple sapling and this spring the other two go under a pear and a plum tree sapling.
I've heard of eating it, but turning into a stuffie? Yuck.

The only person I could imagine thinking this to be a good idea is Hannibal Lecter.

HAHA that's just creepy. Plant it under a tree. Encapsulate it. No worries. But don't make it into toy lol.

While I totally respect the importance of the placenta, and even watched as my doc delivered it, I think this is pretty gross. And pointless.
