Honestly I have said for years that it is a genetic disorder. I can remember telling people not believe that vax can cause it. It just didn't add up.

This is promising research and would explain why there are so many levels of autism spectrum disorder; the lower functioning; the high functioning and the savant.
It will be interesting research to follow. I wonder if they will be able to find enough parents willing to try the eventual drug treatments. Would you be willing?

Ok so the point is that they FOUND something ELSE that causes autism and it's not vaccines.

The link sends me to a fascinating article about the possible cause of autism spectrum disorders being neural link deficiencies. Which was great and very informative. I'd suggest leaving the link, re-titling the thread, and starting a new thread with the Stephen Hawking link. But that's just me. ;-P
