baby's head shape.

Everyone who sees my baby asks how the c section went. Uh...I had her naturally. But..her head is so nicely shaped. I don't know what to say to that. thanks??

Is the baby's head shape usually a give-away as to how they were born? Did anyone else get comments about baby head shapes?

Roxanne was all banged, bruised and dented and she was born by c-section. She had a rough go, for sure, but it only took a week (by the time we left the hospital) for everything to heal up and look perfect

both my kids were delivered by c-section and both have perfectly shaped heads, my sisters kids were both delivered naturally and once again both had perfectly shaped heads, I don't think it makes any difference how they were born unless forceps or the vaccum thingy was used then there is no real reason why they wouldn't just have a normal shaped head.

Mine had a weird indentation in a ring around his head, right where I stopped when he was part-way out because I need a rest before pushing some more. Yikes! Other than that I didn't notice any strange shape. I was all prepared for my baby to come out all ugly, like most newborns, and then was blown away by how beautiful he looked! (to me)

Both of mine came very quickly - like 5 minutes of pushing, tops, so they had very nicely shaped heads. They also had small heads, which was nice for me! :) I think I got comments on how nice and round their heads were, but no one ever asked if I'd had a c-section. My niece had to be suctioned out, very vigorously, and she seriously looked like she had 2 heads, poor thing. :( She was an inch and a half shorter than she measured at birth once her head returned to normal!

Both my babies had big fat heads. =)

Baby one was a c-section.

Baby two stayed up high until last minute. In fact the nurse said she was so high it would be HOURS before she was born. Then she came pushing through the birth canal about an hour later. Yeah, it hurt, but she has a beautiful head. =)

Yeah I had comments on Harry's beautiful shaped head , he was born vaginally as was Cooper who DID have a cone head.....Harry also had a big head but it was never cone shaped.

The cone heads usually come from a lot of squeezing. I've got a big 'ol roomy pelvic outlet, so no cone heads here.

I've gotten comments. Just say thanks :).

By the way, congrats! I could've sworn you weren't so far along! How'd it go?
