By far, IMO, the best one of their songs......I know it's the most "popular" as far as radio play but I love it. Sounds great!

I can listen to it over and over........I might. :P

Nonono, Johnny Cash OVER NIN anyday for that song, for all time and eternity. That is one of the most moving songs ever to be recorded in the history of the world. This is my other favorite 'new' Cash songs, so so amazing.... (edit: it's a particularly chilling video with all the celebs, which is fun to try and pick out who is who in there. Normally, I don't go for these sort of star studded tribs, but this is really meaningful for some reason, and I'm unsure why. Probably because the song is so powerful. Anyway. Rambling.)

This song gives me chills , better than the original , it used to be a bit of a theme song for me during dark times .

Yes, Korn was one of the most violent/intense shows I saw too. I saw them when the first album had just been released, in a tiny little club in Austin TX. I left feeling totally and completely drained.

The strangest concert I ever went to was..Porno for Pyros...the punk/alternative band Farrell put together after one of Janes Addictions breakups. Farrell spent the first 15 minutes of the concert (which was in a small club) lighting incense everywhere and then for over 30 minutes he talked about seeing the dolphins (the concert was in Hawaii) and how he had a spiritual awakening. The dude was baked and made no damn sense but finally after 40 or so minutes of weirdness they played some music.

The most violent thrashed concert I ever went to was a Korn concert. Man that one ended up in crap loads of fights and guards taking people out. I ended being pulled on stage with some other chicks, because we were being smashed and practicly molested by some assholes..which was no prob sense we got a better stage view...hehe.

I am also fan of NIN and White Zombie. I actually burned my old NIN and White Zombie CDS like 6 years ago and sold the original CDs to my teenage neighbors for a pretty price because they were so excited about getting their hands on some older original White Zombie CDs . Apparently they were having a hard time finding older White Zombie CDs and they were costly to get on Ebay. They got a good deal from me but I made a nice amount off of them. My knowledge and ownership of White Zombie and NIN CDs earned me MILF status with the teens who lived next door to me..haha.

Traci..I saw Bosstones with Voodoo Glow Skulls also..great show. NOFX ..I have seen in concert like 6 times. I went to the Vans Warped tour in Hawaii and saw Pennywise, Bad Religion, Deftones, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish, NO Doubt, Offspring (before they sucked)..haha and a host of other punk bands.

I saw Green Day in a concert in Hawaii right before Dookie was launched. I used to get in the mosh pits and crowd surf. I would come home with bruises from head to toe but I had such a great time.

I saw Rage Against the Machine, Propaghandi, Dance Hall Crashers (kick ass chick band), Save Ferris( I love their cover of Come on Eileen) and a host of other bands in concert at small clubs were the ticket price was like $9.00.

Joy, I saw VGS open for Bosstones YEARS ago. I spent my post-HS formative years listening to a metric ton of punk, Youth of Today, 7 Seconds, NOFX, Pennywise, FEAR (yeah, saw them in concert, only time I was actually scared for my life), Bad Religion, Green Day (saw then for $6 before Dookie even came out) Offspring (before they sucked)... Pennywise, though. That was my band. I even bumrushed the stage at one of the shows... Oh crap, and Lagwagon. I was sort of obsessed with them.

Ok...Katie no Pixies or Bosstones in your teen years....man you were deprived...haha.

Loureen...SUBLIME..I saw them in concert 3 different times and then after the lead singer passed I started listening to their new band Long Beach Dub Allstars and saw them in concert twice. I swear if we had grown up in the same area we so would have been great freinds. I still listen to Sublime religiously. I kept all their CDS and burned them and put them on my IPOD.

I decided that I had put enough on here for now, but then I just couldn't leave the U2 song out. But it was really hard to choose between Hey and Where is my mind, lol. And I haven't even started on Cure, Radiohead and The Smiths!! I'll be back later...

Well we've got to add Where is my mind if we've got Hey... ;) It's a toss up between which is one is better, I guess it depends on my mood. Although in my teenage years I preferred Hey. And Iris, I still listen to them religiously! hehe
