"Green Eggs and Ham" takes me back to when I was in Kindergarten...oh the innocent days. :) I also enjoy reading "One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish" to my son.

" I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees, I speak for the trees for the trees have no tongues."

I LOVE the Lorax and Allison likes Green Eggs and Ham. I've heard good things about the Butter Battle Book but haven't read it yet.

Oh the Things you can Think is a good one too :)

The only book of his I like is Go Dogs Go, and that's because it's part of a long running joke that my dad and I have.

I can't stand his other books! But I still read them :S Damn kids like them lol.

I haven't read many of them, but I like One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish and Green Eggs and Ham. My boys like these as well. There is now the show on Treehouse. My boys usually watch it everyday. They get all excited, they love it!

I had a lot of his books when i was younger. I remember my favorite being "Cat in the Hat" couldn't stop reading that one. My sister learned to read with the "Green Eggs and Ham" book. I loved them all :)

How could I forget "In a people House?"

That's THE best. It's under his pseudonym.

I don't know. I haven't read it since I was a kid. Probably reading it in your head is easier than out loud though. Much like Fox in Socks. My in-the-head voice doesn't stumble on the tongue twisters, but the freezy cheese trees really trouble my out loud voice.

I was always partial to One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. My son loves Cat in the Hat and The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.

@Heather - I borrowed the Butter Battle Book from the library for the son just the other day - it was a Suess book that I'd never heard of. Do you find it hard to read? I'm not talking about the message (I thnk the message is great), I mean the wording. I've read it to my son a couple of times and I find myself stumbling and stammering over the words. I find it a difficult read.

My daughter is in Kindergarten and they have had a Suess themed week. Yesterday was "The Cat in the Hat" day and they made big top hats. Today they are reading "One Fish, Two Fish" and were asked to dress brightly. Tomorrow is "Fox in Socks" and "The Foot Book" and they are supposed to wear the wackiest socks they can find. Thursday they are reading "I Can Read with my Eyes Shut". Friday is "Green Eggs and Ham" and they will be doing fun activities with food. Needless to say, she's really excited about school this week! :)

For pure fun: Fox in Socks
For the barely veiled social commentary: The Butter Battle Book

And yes, it is wrong if you haven't read his books. Way wrong and does not even seem possible.
