WILMINGTON, Del. — The state of Delaware missed several red-flag warnings that could have led to an earlier arrest of pediatrician Earl Bradley, accused of raping or abusing more than 103 children since 1998, a four-month analysis of the case concluded Tuesday.

No one.

Really.

My husband. My mother... thats pretty much it. I've never left my kids alone with their pediatrician. What kind of doctor requests you to leave your small child alone with them anyway?

How old were the kids I wonder?
I can't think of any reason I would leave my kids alone with the doctor. Trying to remember the first time I went to the doctors on my own........I must have been AT LEAST 17!!

It's disgusting that a doctor would abuse his position.

When I was growing up, none of my Ped's asked to see me privately until I was 16. And that was b/c he wanted to talk about birth control, ask if I was sexually active, etc.. And that he knew if I had been, I might not feel comfortable talking about it in front of my mom (very conservative family, my ex-Ped, too).. He never tried anything.

Also, I was molested when I was younger, so there are few people I feel comfortable leaving my son around. I won't leave my child(ren) alone with a doctor until they are about 16/17 years old. My kid looks like a line-backer already, has since he was born. Can't imagine how intimidating he'll be when he's that old and a lot taller.

Yeah I have got to say that I would not leave my child alone with my doctor.
I heard this story right after my son was born and couldn't believe it

While I wouldn't say nobody...I certainly wouldn't trust them alone with ANYBODY who insisted on being alone with them.

my kids dentist asks to have them alone, but there are always his assistants in there with them. seems weird that someone would let their child go without another person being in there with the doctor.

Wow, that is horrible! I too would never leave my young children alone with the doctor. In fact, until they are old enough to tell me in great detail what goes on while I'm away, they won't stay with anyone outside of family. The only exception is Sunday school at church, and there's enough supervision there that it's safe.

Well certainly not Earl Bradley!
I trust my parents, my husband's parents... and so far that's it. But we live far away from family and friends so things might be different if we lived closer.
