my son had a virus earlier last week, which involved a bit of coughing, and a fever. he seemed to get a little better, no fever anymore, and his coughing lessened a bit. well yesterday and today he is CONSTANTLY coughing, and his fever is back. he's thrown up he's coughed so much. he has an appoiintment again today, but does anybody know any homeopathic remedies for coughing? i've tried honey and it is not working. is he just gonna have to suffer? i hate seeing him like this. :(

my son had a really bad cough that kept coming back and he ended up getting diagnosed with asthma. He was prescribed an inhaler.

I would have never associated athma with coughing, but that was what was going on.

Best of luck:)

Honey only helps if it's not pasturized.

I don't know about the fever but last year my son got a really bad cough that he just couldn't shake, after many sleeples nights and several trips to the doctors, he finally was diagnosed with reactive airways (similar to asthma). He needed a puffer to get rid of the cough. Doesn't it just break you heart to see kids sick? ((hugs))

Awww. :( We all hate to see our little ones ill. I wouldn't do anything to suppress the cough though. Just make sure he's getting plenty of fluids and use some tylenol or a cool cloth to help with his fever. That should get you through until he gets to the doctor. (((hugs)))
